Mr Rowlands has in excess of 40 years experience in property valuation, research and advice.
His experience as a valuer and land economist has been gained through involvement in the valuation, evaluation, research and strategic planning of all types of development projects.
Projects including low, medium and high rise residential; land subdivisions - both single and multi-stage, Englobo land holdings, industrial subdivisions and estates, commercial office buildings, golf course based subdivisions, multi-staged integrated estates, marina's and other specialty projects.
Landsburys has a reputation for provision of high quality valuation and land economy services to major development companies, banks/financiers, Federal and State Governments, councils, universities and a cross section of private land holders.
Whilst continuing to act in relation to these matters he has prepared reports for a variety of court related litigation matters as well as for joint venture and partnership dispute resolution purposes.
The majority of these matters were focused on development projects and sites, with some relating to compensation for compulsory acquisition and creation of easements.

Most recently he has directed his staff in the assessment of compensation for compulsory acquisition and has an ongoing role assisting with disputes in relation to Voluntary Planning Agreements and other contributions required as part of the DA process.
​
During the first half of 2016 he acquired nine residential zoned properties on behalf of Health Infrastructure as part of the Blacktown Hospital expansion and gained vacant possession through negotiation with various owners and tenants.
​
Also in 2016 he acquired six buildings and negotiated vacant possession of commercial office buildings in the Sydney CBD and North Sydney for the City and Southwest Metro Rail project as leader of a team.
​
This role required assembling all Due Diligence, instructing Valuers, establishing time lines, negotiation and ensuring outcomes in a required time frame.
