Tweed Heads Ivory Tavern Sold (AFR)

  • Brenden Lawless has sold his 8830m² hotel and marina complex, Ivory Tavern at 156 Wharf Street, Tweed Heads, NSW 2485 for $10 million ($1,132.50/m²) to Hurley Hotel Group.

  • The property comprises a single bar, bistro, function space, a gaming room and a marina with 32 berths.

Urbis Subleases (AFR)

  • Architect and Planner Urbis have subleased a 119.3m2 and a 197.6m² pair of offices at its Angel Place headquarters at 123 Pitt Street, Sydney, NSW 2000.


Brisbane CBD Office Lease (AFR)

  • The French Beauty Academy has committed to a 651m² office lease at 300 Adelaide Street, Brisbane City, QLD 4000. The seven-year lease with options is over a whole floor.

Gold Coast Industrial Sales (AFR)

  • Multiple investors have each bought a portion of an industrial complex at 4-16 Hibiscus Haven, Burleigh Heads, QLD 4220 for a sum of $6.8 million at auction.

  • One strata unit at 16 Hibiscus Haven leased to Alroe Constructions for two years sold for $890,000.

  • The unit at 4 Hibiscus Haven sold for $1.1 million and is leased to three businesses and a residential tenant with lease terms ranging from monthly to three years.

  • Another tranche of units at 6, 8, 10a and 14 Hibiscus Haven, leased to Miami Smash repairs on a five-year term, sold for $4.8 million.

Mark Stockwell Purchases Sunshine Coast Shopping Centre (AFR)

  • Property Developer and former Olympian Mark Stockwell has purchased back the Noosa Civic shopping centre on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast for $250 million ($8,333.33/m²) from fund giant QIC.

  • Mr Stockwell previously sold the property to QIC in 2012 for around $200 million.

  • The 30,000m² centre occupies over 31-hectares of land, with 20+ being undeveloped.


GMD Lease South Melbourne Office (AFR)

  • Finance broker GMD Finance has signed up on a seven-year lease with options over a whole floor of office space at 163 Eastern Road, South Melbourne, VIC 3205.

  • The 320m² space on the seventh floor was leased at a net annual rent of $190,000 ($593.75/m²) with 3% annual reviews. The deal includes four car spaces at $270/month.
