Microsoft’s Winten Tower Lease (AFR)

  • Microsoft Australia has committed to 10,655m² of office space across seven levels at the $1.2 billion 1 Denison Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060 commercial office building.

  • The tower will be the the tallest in North Sydney, is being developed by the Winten Property Group, and is currently mid construction by Multiplex.

  • The tower is now more than half filled. Anchor tenant Nine Entertainment Co has committed to 17,000m² of space, while software group SAP will take on 6000m².

North Sydney Office Lease (AFR)

  • Advertising company oOh!media will lease 6858m² of office space over levels two to five of the B-Grade office tower at 73 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060.

  • The building is being refurbished and currently totals 14,672m² of office space, but will have 19,062m² and two extra levels once finished.

  • The property is owned by Propertylink Australian Commercial Trust I, a joint venture between ESR and the global investment manager Partners Group.

  • The lease will commence in 2020 on a 10-year term.

Seven Hills Showroom Lease (AFR)

  • German machinery group Bauer’s Australian business Bauer Equipment Australia has secured a lease for a 2743m² warehouse/showroom at 36 Bearing Road, Seven Hills, NSW 2147.

  • The five-year lease with options comes with a net annual rent of $329,160 ($120/m²).


Brisbane CBD Office Lease (AFR)

  • The Queensland government’s water services company Seqwater has leased two floors of office space at Sentinel Property Group’s tower at 200 Creek Street, Brisbane City, QLD 4000.

  • The 10-year lease for 1600m² of space is for an annual rent of $585/m² ($936,000).


Avondale Heights Retail Flip (AFR)

  • Hospitality operator Cornerstone has leased a car wash at 2 Military Road, Avondale Heights, VIC 3034 with plans to convert the property into an upmarket fish and chip outlet and drive-thru coffee business.

  • The 1520m² site will be leased for three years at a net annual rent of $77,500 ($50.99/m²).

Online Business Secure CBD Lease (AFR)

  • Online ad company My AdBox has signed on a six-year lease for a 400m² office at 276 Flinders Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000 at a net annual rent of $650/m² ($260,000).
