Marks Henderson Secures Surry Hills Office (AFR)

  • The 3154m² of NLA at 19 Foster Street Surry Hills, NSW 2010 has been bought on a 4.8% yield by property investment group Marks Henderson from Security Capital Australia for $39.5 million ($12,523.78/m²).

Western Sydney Industrial Sale (AFR)

  • The final 8.8ha stage of the Yennora Project being undertaken by Macquarie Group-backed LOGOS along with Partners Group has been sold for $49 million ($556.82/m²). The total sales of the subdivision at 1 Kiora Crescent, Yennora NSW 2161 sit at $129 million.

$2.9 Million Wollongong Sale (AFR)

  • 1500m² of space at 2 Town Hall Place, Wollongong NSW 2500 has sold for $2.9 million ($1,933.33/m²) at auction. The space currently exists with a 10-year lease to Oxford Multicultural Childcare, generating a yield of 7%.

Carrara Industrial Site Sold (AFR)

  • 2607m² of industrial area at 9 Indy Court, Carrara QLD 4211 has sold to private investors for $2.45 million ($939.78/m²). The site contains 971m² of office building and is currently leased to Eagles Outdoor Group.

Victoria

Ocean Beach Road Retail Strip Sale (AFR)

  • 183m² of retail space at 54-56 Ocean Beach Road, Sorrento VIC has been sold at auction for $4.07 million ($22,240.44/m²). The auction attracted large crowds with the eventual winner seeing off eight other bidders for the property that is currently in a 5-year net lease, providing a net annual income of $112,617 paid by Sportsgirl.
