Dexus Buys Out MLC Centre (AFR)

  • Dexus has bought out the remaining 50% share of the A-Grade MLC Centre (19 Martin Place, Sydney, NSW 2000) from GPT Group for $800 million. The building comprises of a total 77,500m² ($10,322.58/m²) with 66,900²m of office space and 10,600m² of retail space.

Parramatta Light Rail Lease (AFR)

  • Engineering and infrastructure group Downer Group and its partners on the Parramatta Light Rail Project (CPB contractors, NSW Transport and Transdev) have signed a joint three-year lease for 3012m² of office space stretched across 3 floors at 31-39 Macquarie Street, Parramatta, NSW 2150. The lease has been agreed at a gross annual rent of $450/m² ($1,355,400 annually).

Sydney CBD Office Lease (AFR)

  • Ebury Partners have leased 282.9m² of office space from GPT Group at 580 George Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 at $950/m² ($268,755).


Land Parcel Sold for $19 Million (AFR)

  • Property developer Potter George has purchased 937 Melton Highway, Plumpton VIC 3335, a 12.68ha vacant development site, for $19 million ($149.84/m²). The group plans to subdivide the site into 196 lots for a new housing community.

Melbourne CBD Office Lease (AFR)

  • Level 2 in the 10-storey office tower at 235 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 has been leased by the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria on a 5+5-year lease at a net rental of $385/m².
