Rezoned Showground Site Purchased by Developers (AFR)

  • Ecospective Property have acquired 9634m² of recently rezoned land at Carrington Road, Castle Hill NSW 2154. The $40 million ($4152/m²) deal was made with plans to build around 300 apartments across multiple mid-rise structures.

Surry Hills Terrace Lease (AFR)

  • 150m² of office space at 368 Crown Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010 has been leased by private company The Department for a gross annual rent of $110,000 ($733/m²).

Seven Hills Office/Warehouse Leased (AFR)

  • The 499m² office/warehouse space at 3 St James Place, Seven Hills NSW 2147 has been leased by Online Pipe on terms of $63,500 ($127/m²) annually for two years with options.


Developer Poly Australia Extends Melbourne Portfolio (AFR)

  • The Australian subsidiary of large Chinese developer China Poly Group has parted with $26 million for the site at 171 Buckingham Street, Richmond VIC 3121 previously owned by events company Harry the Hirer. The 4871m² site includes an approved permit for a mixed-use development site of 176 apartments, three townhouses and one food premises.

Lease at Bennelong Building (AFR)

  • Bourne Digital has acquired 250m² of office space on a four-year lease in the basement of the iconic Bennelong building in Melbourne. The annual rent is $100,000 ($400/m²) for the premises at 9 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
