Asian Investor Strikes Deal for $143 million
Capital Management company AEW has acquired a 12,568m² office tower situated at 19 Harris Street, Pyrmont NSW 2009 from UBS Asset Management, who managed the asset on behalf of an overseas investor. The deal of $143 million was struck on a tight yield of 4.87%.
Iris Capital Adds to $30 Million Portfolio
The Shaft Tavern, 145 Croudace Road Elermore Vale NSW 2287, has been added to the pub-specific portfolio of Iris Capital for a deal around $12 million. The site comprises of 6000m² of space with 26 gaming entitlements and an approval for a 16-room motel. Other entities in the portfolio include the Sydney Junction Hotel in Hamilton and the Gunyah Hotel in Belmont.
Global Investment Group Partners Up with University of Melbourne
AMP Capital has entered a 40-year deal with the University of Melbourne to refurbish the University owned site at 303 Royal Parade, Parkville VIC 3052. The deal involves a pipeline for 954 beds spread across two facilities with up keep of the student dorms being the responsibility of AMP, who hold the right to collect student rents for the length of the deal.
