Eastern Creek Industrial Estate Leased (AFR Pg. 40)
Homeware products distributor Sheldon and Hammond has committed for 10-years to a 31’000m² warehouse – what will be building three of Mirvac’s Calibre Estate at 60 Wallgrove Rd, Minchinbury.
The rent was not disclosed – prime industrial rents in the area average between $115m² and $135m².
Sydney Office Space Leased (AFR Pg. 42)
MultiCloud service provider VMtech has sub-leased a whole floor totalling 1032m² at Level 16, Australia Square – 264 George Street Sydney from sub-lessor NSW Water until 2019.
The rent was not disclosed but gross rents in the building range from $800/m² to $850/m².
Granville Office/Warehouse Leased (AFR Pg. 42)
Chemicals Company Lanxess has sub-leased a 3782m² office/warehouse at 2B Factory Street Granville for $125/m² on a 5-year lease with options from Knorr-Bremse Australia.
Prestons Development Site Sold (AFR Pg. 43)
A local developer has acquired a 1780m² development site at 264-266 Ragland Street, Prestons for $5.02 million ($2’820/m² of site area).
Fortitude Valley Office Building Sold (The Australian)
Singapore-listed Ascendas REIT has acquired an office building from Keystone Private at 100 Wickham Street, Fortitude Valley for $83.83 million ($6’384/m² per permissible net lettable area), reflecting an initial yield of 8%.
The 16-level building has 13’131m² of NLA, is leased to government and ASX listed tenants – includes; 96 parking bays.
