Completion of residential projects in central Sydney is set to remain strong for the next two years following which the effect of the shortage of suitable development sites is likely to slow the activity. The most growth is likely to occur in Green Square in 2008.

   
   
   
 
     
As at the end of June this year there were a total of 2,918 units under construction in the City of Sydney; 1,106 in the City Centre, 306 in the Green Square precinct and 1,506 in
remaining areas.
