  • A private investor has acquired a 232m² office suite at 1/2 Waters Road, Neutral Bay for $1.7 million ($7,327/m²).
Castlereagh Street Office Suite Sold (SMH 12-13 Pg.55)
  • A private investor has acquired a 65m² office suite at 313-315 Castlereagh Street, Sydney for $325,000 ($5,000/m²).
Marrickville Industrial Property Sold (SMH 12-13 Pg.55)
  • P West has acquired an 855m² industrial site at 24-34 Chapel Street, Marrickville for $1.37 million ($1,602/m²).
Parramatta Office Market Update (SMH 12-13 Pg.55)
  • Research indicates the Parramatta office market will achieve a net absorption of 21,834m² in 2012 and yields for A-grade properties have softened by 3 basis points to 8.78%.
  • Eclipse, a 25,000m² office tower located at 60 Station Street, Parramatta is due for completion in the third quarter of 2012 and is currently 80% pre leased.
Sydney Auction Clearance Rate Result (AFR Pg.52)
  • Sydney achieved an auction clearance rate of 61.8% over the weekend, a 4.1% increase from the corresponding weekend of 2011.
