Housing Market Update (AFR Pg.38)
  • Dwelling starts in the 2012-13 financial year are forecast to increase 6% from the 2011-12 financial year.
  • New South Wales is forecast to achieve the biggest increase in housing starts of 19%, whilst Victoria is expected to record a decline of 13% over the same period.
