Heathcote Ridge Development Update (AFR Pg.47)
  • The Gandangarra Local Aboriginal Land Council has submitted revised plans for a $1 billion residential and commercial development spanning 850 hectares at Heathcote Ridge in the Sutherland Shire.
  • The proposal includes 2,400 dwellings and for 566 hectares to be reserved for conservation use.

Victoria

Russell Street Mixed Use Site Sold (AFR Pg.42)
  • AXF has acquired Total House, a mixed use property at 170-190 Russell Street, Chinatown for approximately $40 million.
  • The property comprises a 409 bay car park, 4,000m² of office space and 8 retail shops.
Surrey Hills Office Property Sold (AFR Pg.48)
  • A three storey, 1,420m² office property at 587 Canterbury Road, Surrey Hills has been acquired for $4 million ($2,816/m²).
  • The property comprises 33 basement car parks and was previously sold in 1989.
Clayton Industrial Facility Sold (AFR Pg.48)
  • Mountfords Shoes has acquired a 1,215m² industrial facility at 58 Duerdin Street, Clayton for $1.4 million ($1,152/m²).
  • The property comprises 264m² of office space and 951m² of warehouse space with an internal clearance up to 5.95 metres.
Derrimut Vacant Land Sold (AFR Pg.48)
  • A private developer has acquired 5.6 hectares of land at 169 Australis Drive, Derrimut for $4.65 million ($830,357/Ha).

Queensland

Bayno Industrial Property Sold (AFR Pg.48)
  • A private investor has acquired a 746m² industrial unit at 11/368 Earnshaw Road, Banyo for $1.9 million ($2,546/m²), reflecting a yield of 8.25%.
  • The property is tenanted by Zip Heaters under a six year term and comprises office and warehouse space.
