Hunter Street Hotel Redevelopment Update (AFR Pg.42)
  • Cititel Hotels have lodged plans for a $43.8 million redevelopment of a 12 level office tower at 34-36 Hunter Street, Sydney into a three star hotel comprising 282 rooms.
  • The office tower was acquired last year for $36 million.

Commercial Property Market Update (AFR Pg.42)
  • Research indicates approximately 540,000m² will be added to the supply of commercial space over 2012.
  • The increase is 40% higher than the addional supply created in 2011.
  • Approximately 70% of the new supply has been leased under pre-commitment deals.
