Botany Residential Development Sales Update (AFR Pg.47)
  • A residential development at 25-33 Wilson Street, Botany has now achieved 80% presales after 120 sales were recorded in the past fortnight totalling $67.5 million.

Queensland

Calamvale Central Shopping Centre Sold (AFR Pg.46)
  • A private investor has acquired the Calamvale Central shopping centre in Brisbane for $62 million, reflecting a fully leased yield of 8.81% and the biggest transaction for a sub regional shopping centre in Queensland since 2009.
  • The centre comprises 61 speciality stores, has a gross lettable area of 17,326m² and is anchored by a Big W and Woolworths supermarket.
  • Research indicates $2.1 billion worth of retail assets have been exchanged in 2011.
