A private investor has acquired the
Calamvale Central
shopping centre in
Brisbane
for $62 million, reflecting a fully leased yield of 8.81% and the biggest transaction for a sub regional shopping centre in Queensland since 2009.
The centre comprises 61 speciality stores, has a gross lettable area of 17,326m² and is anchored by a
Big W
and
Woolworths
supermarket.
Research indicates $2.1 billion worth of retail assets have been exchanged in 2011.
