Sydney Commercial Office Sale (AFR 13 Pg.49)
  • HNA Group has acquired the 22 storey commercial tower at 1 York Street, Sydney for $117.7 million ($6,407/m²) from Colonial First State’s Direct Property Investment Fund reflecting an initial yield of approximately 8.5%.
  • The circa 1973 B-grade building has 18,368 m² of net lettable area and has parking space for 119 vehicles.
Enmore Housing Site Sale (AFR 13 Pg.53)
  • Daher and Gebron have acquired a 1,787m² site at 151 Edgeware Road, Enmore for $3 million ($1,678/m²) with plans to develop the site into 10 three bedroom terraces.
Baulkham Hills Office Lease (AFR 13 Pg.55)
  • Abterra Australia has leased 114m² of office space at 10 Century Circuit, Baulkham Hills for three years at a rent of $368/m² gross per annum.

  • Layan Design Group has signed a three year lease for 250m² of office space at 51 Queen Street, Melbourne, reflecting a reported rent of $300/m² gross per annum.

QUEENSLAND

Brisbane Retail Lease (AFR 13 Pg.55)
  • Bare Traps has signed a five year lease for 390m² of retail space at 221 Stafford Road, Stafford, reflecting a reported rent of $282/m² gross per annum.
